Waterfront Holland has partnered with 1 Adventure Company, a local water sports rental company, to offer free boat rides on Lake Macatawa. These boat rides will allow the community to experience the waterfront on the water, including views of the urban and natural landscapes, as we gear up for the large-scale charrette. We’re thankful to 1 Adventure Company, which has sponsored these rides free of charge to participants on Saturday, April 13, with four separate times available:
- 10:00a – 10:30a
- 10:45a – 11:15a
- 11:30a – 12:00p
- 12:15p – 12:45p
There will be four boats per time slot with 12-13 passengers aboard each boat for a 25-30 minute boat ride. The rides will tour the waterfront starting at the Kollen Park boat launch following northeast to the JDY site and then west along Dunton Park before returning to Kollen Park.
Ticket information and registration are available on the Waterfront Holland events page. Participants should plan on arriving 15 minutes before their session. We will need to ensure that all participants sign off on a release/waiver form before boarding the boats.
