With hundreds of ideas and dozens of surveys collected at events held across the area, the Waterfront Holland initiative plans to hold a facilitated visioning event on December 13 at the Holland Civic Center to establish the next steps in the Waterfront Holland process.

The event runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and includes a presentation featuring all the feedback the public has shared up to this point. The event will also feature the use of dot polling to allow those in attendance help distill the ideas that are most preferred by the public.

The dot polling method is a facilitation method using dot stickers or marks with a marker that allows participants to vote on their chosen option.

The polling will shape the vision development phase that is expected to occur in the new year.

With the facilitating event three weeks away, we are still encouraging the public to share their thoughts about the future of the Holland waterfront. To provide feedback, visit the Submit Feedback section of the Waterfront Holland website.

The facilitating event is free to the public and to sign up, visit the Eventbrite page here.
